Lightroom2 and iPhoto
I love using Lightroom to edit and crop photos, but also love using iPhoto to share and show off images to friends/Flickr. I’ve always had a problem of keeping track of photos, and I seem to have alot of duplicates of the same photo (along with all the backups / and the ones uploaded to flickr). Today I came across this little Automator script for OSX that helps solve the problem and is a doddle to get work.
Just set up a folder in iPhoto (eg. Lightroom) then create a custom export preset in Lightroom which uses the Automator script. Thats’s it. Then you have all the editable raw files in Lightroom and the exported high-res jpegs in iPhoto to share. Simples.
